Thimar was founded in 2008 as firm of sorting, packing and exporting of fresh fruits and vegetables with a sizeable Egyptian market share, and with clear market leadership in the export of Egyptian products.
We are having good knowledge and expertise in the international market of exporting fruits and vegtables to meet the consumer needs.
With a capacity reaching 200 ton per shift, we have a great potential of contributing to the global market as a competing party.
After starting with a single sorting and packing facility, we have started adding up to our range of products, starting with a main focus on citrus and ending up with a group of sorting and packing facilities covering grapes, strawberries, sweet potatoes, mango capsicum and onions.
In our pursuit of this goal, we work in compliance with The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and are inspected annually to ensure our continuous compliance. In addition to the ISO22000, we are certified for BRC and Global GAP.
We are fully ready to process any required quantities for exporting companies with full commitment of delivering your products with standardized quality professionally and on time.

Capabilities:

– Electronic filling and sorting line (camera sorting) with electronic sizer of citrus fruits with an operating capacity of 300 tons per day.
– Fresh onion filling, sorting and sizing line with a capacity of 100 tons per day.
– A cooled hall equipped for packing and storage, which was newly established at a cost of two million EGP.
– Three preservation and cooling refrigerators, with a storage capacity of 220 tons.
– Three Pre-cooling refrigerators with a storage capacity of 70  tons.
– A room for fermentation, ripening and coloring of citrus   fruits.
– Hanger (covered warehouse) for packaging materials
– Large truck scale (for heavy transport).
– Six handling Clarks
– Mosque – dining room – toilets for workers – workers accommodation – administrative headquarters – a launderette for workers’ clothes.

It has a B.R.C quality certificate and Global GAP certificate for screening and packing stations.
